This is just to give e brief report on the Itinerary of His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj who left this afternoon Damodardesh Yatra heading towards Kanayadesh. After His Holiness will go to Chennai and then to Mayapur as per last plans.

Guru Maharaj had a very fare welling day at Sri Vallabha Prabhu's house, i will try to make a full report tomorrow on his extraordinary visit to this part of the world, The last program was attended by more than 700 devotees with stage program and ecstatic dances about Krishna Lilas.

Today also Many devotees came as a meeting to Sri Vallabha Prabhu.s house and to meet Guru Maharaj where He gave a lecture on why Lord Caitanya is not as famous as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. although he mentioned that we have to work to make his name as famous as of Krishna and Rama, since in His devotee mood the Lord has different rasa and that Guru Maharaj  said that he delegated the spreading of the holy names to the six Goswamis and the Guru-Parampara.

So we can say that Guru Maharaja was in 2 countries during the last day of the year 2011, welcoming the new year in Kanaydesh maybe for the first time.

After been for almost 3 days in Shyamadesh, His Holiness Jayapataka Swami arrived to Gaurangadesh Yatra to an ashram called Gauranga kutir at 7:00 pm. More than 150 devotees who are under the servitorship (coordination) of H.G. Ramananda Gaura Prabhu, welcomed him with Guru Puja. Then after His Holiness gave a special lecture on general vaishnava topics, the responsibility of the Grihasta community and how they have to prepare themselves to go back to Godhead this life time. In addition to that He pointed out on how much they are responsible for the children's spiritual life.

Guru Maharaja spoke also on how Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the illuminating sun in this age of kali and how we can make use of this wonderful opportunity to go back to godhead. The whole world is blessed because of the devotees and that this is the best time to go home to Godhead because the futuristic kaliyuga is very dangerous.

Once the pravachan - lecture was over, Guru Maharaja blessed all with the toothbrush stick of Lord Jagannatha touching their heads while simultaneously chanting Hare Krishna maha-mantra. This is double blessings for sure.

After that His Holiness took prasad while both Maha Varaha and Ekanath Gaura Prabhus, gave lecture on His Holiness Jayapataka Swami's preaching activities and some nectarean pastimes for the benefit and pleasure of all devotees as they are eager to know about this important servant preacher of His Divine Gurudeva Srila Prabhupada.

Immediately after I came to know that the Bhagavad Gita court case in Russia was on the favor of ISKCON I called Sri Vallabha Prabhu to give the good news to Guru Maharaja who was very happy and shared this with the devotees during the lecture.

At night Guru Maharaja went to the new house of H.G. Sri Vallabha Prabhu (called as Victory Flag) for the Damodardesh Yatra program till the 31st of December.

Today 29.12.2011 Guru Maharaja is staying at the new house of Sri Vallabha Prabhu taking proper care and having special therapies including gym and pool therapies that are needed to keep on reactivating his muscles after which at 8:00 pm His Holiness will go to the main hall program arranged for hundreds.

I couldnt go with them to this program as i had to workout the diaries and some coordination for the next few days.

 I have sent earlier some small reports on the activities of His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj in Shyamadesh since his arrival from Avataridesh, however I want to give much more elaborated report on these almost 3 days of intense program with the devotees and our beloved Guru Maharaja.

After arriving from Avataridesh Guru Maharaja had Prasad, while having Prasad His Holiness commented that while one is taking Prasad no negative comments should be made on the Prasad if it was convenient or not, this could be doe separately, beside of that he instructed that the host should never be the same coordinator as they will come for him for every single detail needed and this will create a mess at the end and overload him with many responsibilities.

I was impressed that after he entered the room he looked at me and said "why u didn't apply to become office in charge again? but I was not any more interested to hold such responsibilities as I explain to Guru Maharaja why was that. But I did brief him about many issues related to office and certain limitations that are there beside of the need to upgrade everything in terms of services, devotees care and replying letters and correspondences, but he was fully aware of everything related to the office and previous ways of handling the services. We pray that the new team will have all blessings to offer the best service possible.

Guru Maharaja after lunch gave darshan as the schedules by the Yatra authorities divided by cells which each one is headed by senior devotee.

In the evening Guru Maharaja went to the house of H.G. Urukrama Krishna Prabhu which is in the same building and met with 3 groups: 1.- The Shyamadesh/ Damodardesh branch under Radhabhav Prabhu. The second Bhakti Vriksha group under H.G.  V. Govinda Prabhu  and gave to 13 of them the  certificates of Bhakti Vriksha siksa. After that Guru Maharaja  gave a small lecture and darshan to each and every one distributing Maha Prasad and Sri Nrsimha Oil. Then Guru Maharaj  went up back to Sudevirani DD's house and had fruit Prasad. Before he went down to the program he requested me to give a small lecture which I did and also while he was taking his fruit Prasad instructed me to speak about our understanding and philosophy as many were new including I gave some few pastimes  of His Divine Grace  Srila Prabhupada with some instructions he gave to His Holiness  Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj in the early days of ISKCON.  After finishing Prasad Guru Maharaja came out and gave darshan to the group of H.G. Rama Krishna Prabhu which is a cell of 80 devotees, in total more than 300 devotees Guru Maharaj met during the whole day.

The second day Guru Maharaja had therapies and gave blood for laboratory test.

Also this day many cells met with His Holiness in both venues. Also it is important to mention that along with Shyamadesh Yatra these meetings included the Srivas-Sangan Yatra.

Many were the cell groups who met Guru Maharaja this day, like those under the coordination of Aticandra Govinda Prabhu, Bhagavan Balabhadra Prabhu, Baladeva Prabhu,  Madhura Govinda Prabhu, Paramatattwa Prabhu,  Srivas-Sangan group and also Guru Maharaja gave lecture en Bengali  to almost 200 devotees

Bangladesh is who were under the coordination of Radhabhava Prabhu. His Holiness also gave shelter to some aspiring devotees. This time there were no initiations as there were no time to finalize with the candidates as now the standard are very strict. Although more than 15 are ready and qualified for that but there  will be initiations in the next visit of our beloved Gurudeva.

I forgot to mention in my previous reports in Avataridesh that Guru Maharaja also met some devotees from Anandadesh Yatra.

For the last and third day, our Guru Maharaja had his therapies some Prasad and short meetings and then in the afternoon left to Gaurangadesh where I sent a special short report on it and then to the house of H.G. Sri Vallabha Prabhu to start with the Damodardesh yatra activities.

Will be sending another report shortly on the first Day in Damodardesh Yatra.
